I've been experimenting with some different recipes in the last few weeks to figure out what we'll contribute to the Height family Thanksgiving dinner this year. Here's a sneak peek at a Vegan Pumpkin Pie (with grain-free, gluten-free, insane-o delicious crust!) I've been working on. Recipe coming soon. ;) In the meantime, please hit that link to vote for it over on Tribest's website (I'd so appreciate it!).
In my digging through old favorites, I found a selection of simple, nourishing, really yummy options -- and decided to share (just in case you, too, are trying to put together a gluten-free, vegan, low-sugar, no-meat, dairy-free, no-turkeys-were-harmed-in-the-making-of... menu for the holiday.)
The best part? Everything is turkey-approved.
So, here you go! Some ideas to think about when putting together your friendly-for-every-guest's-dietary-preferences menu. Some of them are adaptations of traditional favorites, while others are a little untraditional, but use deliciously autumnal, harvest-time ingredients. My favorite? The Carrot Pumpkin Bites.
